You would never set out to find a new specific destination without a map or your GPS, right? The same goes for understanding that you can’t really know how to plan out your day until you plan out your year. In order to maximize the time you spend in your business daily, you need to start by listing out your goals for the year down to the finest details.
Once you have done that, you can reverse engineer the process by identifying all the tasks and action items that will lead you to that goal. Then you can assign due dates to those items so that you are making consistent and specific progress each day when you sit down to work.
In this episode you’ll learn:
- Mapping out specific goals will make it easier to create action items.
- Working backward allows you to be realistic about your goals and have less overwhelm.
- Taking the time to plan your year will give you clarity a sense of accomplishment on a daily basis.
