If your business is growing and scaling, or you are even planning to grow and scale, then you are most likely going to be adding team members to your business. This can be very exciting, and even when you are hiring people you trust, you need to make sure you are putting practices in place to protect yourself in the event you and that other team member ever had to part ways. I’m not trying to scare you, but I have had to support a handful of clients who have gotten burned and had to learn these lessons the hard way.
Today I’ll be sharing with you how you can establish clear expectations with your team members by using contracts and non-disclosure agreements, ways you can protect your passwords, and provide team members with the appropriate level of access to any part of your business from your CRM to your social media. These are all the ways you can be proactive, rather than reactive and maintain a pulse on any part of your business at any time. And it’s never too late to put these systems in place!
In this episode you’ll learn:
- What a contract and NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) is and why you need one in place with every team member
- How to share passwords securely with team members using Lastpass.com
- What the appropriate levels of access are for team members for different parts of your business
